I guess I was more beat than I thought, because we had a timeline to be in Vegas by the early afternoon, I knew I could afford only a limited break. Already I was disconnecting from the normalcy of being in secure surroundings and the idea of bedding in a narrow couch like row in a hummer was quite makeshift, but par for these types of journeys.
